How to Translate Your First Text Layer in FrameLoc
Translating your first text layer in FramerLoc is straightforward, but it requires two things to be in place beforehand: a default language and at least one translation language must already be configured in your project settings.
Prerequisites
Before you can start translating, make sure you have completed the initial setup — your default language must be set and at least one translation language must have been added to your FramerLoc project. If this is not yet done, refer to the setup guide above.
Select a Page and Find Your Detected Texts
Once your languages are configured, open the FrameLoc panel and select the page you want to work on from the Pages section on the left. FrameLoc will automatically scan that page and list all the text layers it has detected under the Detected Texts section.
Understanding the Translation Pair
Each detected text is displayed as a translation pair. On the left side, you will find the original text — this is the text as it appears on your Framer canvas, written in your default language. On the right side, there is an editable input field labeled Traduction... where you can type the translated version of that text directly.
Enter Your First Translation
Click on the right-side input field of the translation pair and type the translation of the original text into the language you have selected in the top bar. Repeat this process for every text layer you want to translate on the page. Once you are done, remember to click Save to store your translations, and then Apply Translations to publish them to your Framer project.
