How to Manually Add Text Elements the Plugin Didn't Detect
FrameLoc automatically scans your Framer pages and detects most text layers. However, some elements may occasionally be missed. For those cases, FramerLoc lets you add any undetected text manually in just a few clicks, without ever leaving the plugin.
Select the Right Page
Start by navigating to the page in FrameLoc where the undetected text lives. Use the Pages panel on the left to select it. This ensures that your custom text will be associated with the correct page and applied in the right context.
Click Add Custom Text
Once you are on the correct page, click the Add Custom Text button in the translation top bar. A new custom translation pair instantly appears at the top of the panel, under the Custom Texts section — separate from the automatically detected text layers.
Fill In the Translation Pair
The custom translation pair works exactly like any detected text pair. On the left input field, type the original text exactly as it appears on your Framer canvas — the version written in your default language. On the right input field, enter its translation in the currently selected language.
Once filled in, don't forget to click Save to store the pair, and then Apply Translations to push it live to your Framer project.
